FAQs

What make the RemoteDeck better than pocket remote control holders?

The remotes will never leave the RemoteDeck. You can control your devices with your remotes attached to the RemoteDeck. When you use pocket holders, remotes need to be removed before controlling your device. If the remote doesn't get put back, it will be lost.

Will my remotes fall off of the RemoteDeck?

The RemoteDeck uses Hook & Loop to secure the remotes to the RemoteDeck. They will not fall off. See photo below.

Remotes stay on the RemoteDeck

Is there enough Hook & Loop (Velcro*) for all my remote controls?

There is enough Hook & Loop for the standard amount of remotes on a DECK. The recommendation is that you use 2 pieces of Hook & Loop at 1" to 1-1/4" length per remote, on the touch points as needed. The amount of Hook & Loop included with each RemoteDeck size is enough to mount all the remotes for that given size, plus a little extra. This extra can be use to if you want to use a little more Hook & Loops than recommended (Be sure to measure carefully) or to add an additional remote.

Does it matter if I put the Hook & Loop (Velcro*) on vertical or horizontal?

Remotes come in all types of shapes and sizes. As long as you are putting the Hook & Loop on the touch points, either direction should be fine. If one end of the remote is wider than the other end, you should put the Hook & Loop horizontal to accommodate for the wider remote end. This will increase the stability of the remote control attached to the RemoteDeck.

How do I care for my RemoteDeck?

From time to time, push and hold down on your remotes so they stay firmly attached to the REMOTEDECK. Additionally, clean with glass cleaner or regular soap and water as needed. Be careful not to get the Hook & Loop adhesive wet.
